Science- The Digestive System

Lesson: Science

Class: H Year: 2017 - 2018

Today, in Science, we modelled the Digestive System. We crushed up food in the mouth (a food bag), moved it down the oesophagus, added acid (orange juice) to it in the stomach, added enzymes and bile (food colouring) to it, from the liver, gall bladder and pancreas, in the duodenum, extracted nutrients and water in the intestines (tights) and finally released it out of the anus. Please quiz your child on the roles of each organ!
