Year 6 visit Tatton Farm (as evacuees)

In March, Year 6 travelled back in time to 1941 in order to experience life as evacuees. We met the animals, learned how to milk cows in the shippon, cleaned tack in the tack room, toasted bread on 'Aunt Mary's fire' and experienced an air raid. We did all of this through the eyes of the five real evacuees who spent the war living on Tatton Farm.
