Hedgehog Rescue and Release

St Peter's is used by local hedgehog rescue centres to release some of their rehabilitated hedgehogs. At school, we often find hedgehogs in our grounds that are either poorly or in distress. We have immediate access to a local hedgehog rescue service who will rehabilitate and release them back into our habitat. We also are able to release hedgehogs that do not come from our immediate area. We have a number of houses for them to hibernate in when the time comes.

Our video feed is able to keep a close eye on our hedgehogs because if we see them during the day, then they are most probably sick.

Below are images and videos of Robinson and Moorcroft, our recently rescued and release hedgehogs.
