Please email stpeter@sthelens.org.uk to book your place. We will need your name, telephone number and email address. Please watch our EYFS Video Tour at the foot of this page.

You can find the admission criteria details in the link below.

School arrangements for split classes in Early Years Foundation Stage and Key Stage 1

Please note that St Peter's is a 35 pupil entry school. With the Government guidlines being that in EYFS and Key Stage 1, no class should exceed 30 children per teacher, St Peter's operates a split class system, where pupils are split into mixed age groups. On applying and accepting a place at St Peter's C of E Primary School, you will be acknowedging that your child will be in a class where not all of the cohort will be in the same class until they reach Year 3. For further information, please contact the school.

COVID - 19 UPDATE

IMPORTANT NOTICE ABOUT VARIATION TO ADMISSIONS CRITERIA FOR CHILDREN APPLYING TO START SCHOOL IN SEPTEMBER 2021

Admissions Criteria 2021

Both paragraphs 2 and 4 of the oversubscription criteria make reference to regular church attendance.  Liverpool Diocese, on behalf of the governing board, have applied to the Office of the Schools Adjudicator for the following variation to our published criteria.

In the event that during the period specified for attendance at worship the church has been closed for public worship and has not provided alternative premises for that worship, the requirements of these arrangements in relation to attendance will only apply to the period when the church or alternative premises have been available for public worship

Sunday services will resume at St Peter’s on Sunday 19th July 2020, however, for the foreseeable future church attendance cards will not be stamped but rather confirmation of attendance will be emailed to parents by Rev Grey.  Full details of the service arrangements to support applications can be found on both the school and church websites

Please note that Church is now open for worship. A proceess for attending is attached to this page.

Governors will not be requiring proof of attendance during March to June 2020 inclusive.
