Show and Tell will be on Fridays, for all. Please send items of interest (awards, certificates, interesting objects etc.) Please avoid sending toys in for Show and Tell. Year one can write about their show and tell, collecting a slip from class.
Year One P.E lessons are now on Tuesday.
Reception P.E lessons are on Thursday.
Please ensure your child has their indoor kit available. We now ask for their outdoor kit to be avaialble in school also, as the weather improves.
Children should bring a water bottle to school each day. A free fruit snack is available everyday; children are also welcome to bring their own healthy snack in from home.
If you need to speak to a member of staff, Mrs Harrison is on door duty most mornings and again after school. Mrs Prasher is also available.
Below are some songs that will help your child with their learning at school. We will change them or add to them as we learn...
Reception will be reading 'How to Grow a Dinosaur; by Carly Hart. Have a look at the story at home! Perhaps we may grow our own dinosaurs. Roar!!!!! Watch out St. Peter's! We are using an app on the PC and ipads, which the children can also use- that places dinosaurs in school!
Year one are looking at Traditional tales and have read 'Litte Red Reading Hood. We are now moving onto a story called, 'There is no Droagon in this story,' a sotry about fitting in and being unique- and a twist on all of the traditional tales we know. We will be writing our own dragon stories. Watch out!
We are enjoying our JIGSAW PSHE time each week. Our jigsaw friend 'Jenie' helps us to be mindful and the chime bar keeps us calm and looks after our wellbeing. Look at the PSHE page to find out more! This half term we are learning about being healthy and leading a healthy life- looking after ourselves properly. This is especially fitting at the moment. Let's all look after each other and spread love, hope, trust and faith- never have our school values been more embedded than in these weeks when we look to our school community, friends and families for support.
God Bless, Mrs Harrison
