Welcome to the final half term of this academic year!

In English this half term, we are going to be learning about The Sea Saw by Tom Percival and looking at journeys which will also lead into supporting the children with their transitions into new classes.

In Maths, we continue to follow the White Rose Scheme of maths. Reception are exploring and representing patterns within numbers up to 10, including odds and evens, double facts and how quantities can be distributed equally.

  • Please ensure that your child's reading folder is brought into school each day, with your child's book and reading record, as children need access to these books during lessons.
  •  P.E lessons will continue to be on a Monday. Children must wear their PE kit to school on this day.
  • Children should bring a labelled water bottle to school each day. This should be cleaned and returned daily.
  • A free fruit snack is available everyday; children are also welcome to bring their own small, healthy snack in from home. This must not contain nuts or peanuts.
  • Please ensure that any personal belongings coming into school are clearly labelled with your child's name.

We are enjoying our JIGSAW PSHE time each week. Our jigsaw friend 'Jenie' helps us to be mindful and the chime bar keeps us calm and looks after our wellbeing. Look at the PSHE page to find out more!

Please check our newsletter to find out what we will be learning about this half term.
